The kids had a half-a-day of school on Friday so we decided to take them to the city to see the tree!! We had a great time checking out all the store windows and seeing the tree. We went to the american girl doll store but it was very crowded. I will have to take Victoria there another time. We fininshed up our visit at toys-r-us in time square. WE rode on the ferris wheel and visited spiderman. The kids had a great time!!

I have a few mommy gloating things to post. First Paul was picked to be a peer mediator at school. They picked 5 kids out of 35 we are very proud of him. Joey was picked to be on the odessy of the mind team and will be competing against other schools on Feb.21st. He is very excited and so are we.

We have been very busy here. Sat night we went to an army hockey game it was fun but a little bit boring for miss victoria. On Sunday we went to see madagascar 2!! Oh my what a funny movie you must take your children to see this I laughed so hard. It was really good. Oh and last week we saw high school musical too.. I liked that one too..

So for Halloween I had one kiss member a vampire, a really scary guy and a little princess living with me. Lots of candy later they became Paul, daniel, JOey and Victoria.LOL

Pumpkins...

So I am fighting off a terrible cold. And It could not have come at the worst time, I have 14 people coming Friday night to do a christmas card workshop. I still have to cut paper and organize my give aways.
The kids had five days off from school this week and we were able to get some pumpkin picking in.. We went to a new farm and they had face painting, Paul went for the whole face effect and Victoria was a cat Joe doesn't like to get his face painted.. They all picked really nice pumpkins and are going to paint them on friday night at family fun night at the school.

Wanted to share some cards with you all. These are from a card workshop I did for some of my sisters friends. The first one is a wedding or anniversary card. The second one is a just because I care card this one is my favorite I used watercolor crayons on it. Love it. And finally the 3rd is a get well card.
I am feeling a little tired today and bummed that greys is not on tonight. Oh well that means I may get to bed before 1 am tonight. Trying to keep up with all the paperwork that comes home from school is crazy. I get the some of the same papers 3 times such a waste. I am also looking foward to my stamping up order that is coming in tomorrow!!

Monday ramblings....

Here are the pictures from the Trace Adkins concert... We all had such a great time.. We were able to move up real close to the stage!! Wow he puts on a really good show... Friday night Anthony and I went to the Yankee game so sad that the stadium is going to be taken down and next year they will be playing in a new stadium.. The atmosphere at the game was awesome. They won and we got to see Joba and Mariano pitch..Love when MO comes out and they play enter sandman the house was rockin!!. Saturday night I got together with my stamping group and we did two projects.. Was nice to get out and be creative. Sunday night Anthony and I watched the Pre Yankee game it was so surrel to see all the old timers and the young timers there. I have my favorites (O'neill,Tino, and Bernie)Love the ovation that Bernie got. And Girardi gave all my favorites there time in the spotlight. He took Andy out in the 6th so he could get an ovation and Jeter was taken out in the 9th!!!! It was just a great night to be a Yankee fan.
So enough rambling tonight Dancing with the stars is on can't wait and Greys anatomy starts on
Thursday!!

Time for a white wedding....

Anthony's friend John got married on Saturday to Linda. They had a beautiful wedding with great weather. Anthony and I enjoyed spending time with Tommy,Maureen,Greg and Nicole. It was nice to be able to see everyone and catch up. Usually when we all get together it is one of the kids birthdays and we can never just sit an talk. Then on Sunday I had a girls day out I went to a music festival and saw Trace Adkins up close, pictures to come tomorrow. I am off to clean because it is almost time for the bus and homework!!

So the rat race has begun.. 4 kids in school I am sooo tired!!! But very excited for all that lies ahead for my little ones.. Paul is very happy with his teacher and has decided to do every club imaginable. Joey likes his teacher but says she is tough and oh boy is she.. And dan the man well he likes school but he is so tired.. He has had some tears but we are getting through it. He misses being home and playing with his toys.. He is a sensitive kid and very shy so when he is not sure where to go the tears come and he gets a stomach ache.. But he will get it real soon. victoria loves school and does not want to leave. I was home today all by myself for the first time in 9 years!! I got so much done...My babies are growing up to fast.. Hard to believe that Paul has 2 more years untill middle school. I shall warn you that this post is going to have alot of photos!!!

We did not have a busy week. The kids and I have been hanging out..I honestly think they are ready for school to start.
*Anthony took the day off and we headed to pt Pleasant NJ
*Aunt Carolyn, Dylan and Keira meet us there.
*The kids loved the waves
*sat we had Joshies b-day party we had a great time hanging out with good friends all day and all night.
*Sunday we went to my nieces birthday party
*the boys started vacation bible school Sunday night.

The new catalog is delicious!! I love it!!! The stamp sets are beautiful. And just look at the pumpkins and how they stamped on them. And did you see the buttons love them... I think that this is the best cattie I have ever seen. I also like how they did tutorial's in between sections in the catalog. Just love it!!

I saw Mama Mia last night and it was so much fun. I laughed so hard and the music was awesome. I have to get the sound track.. If you have not seen it you need too..

We are back from vacation relaxed and tanned well the kids and Anthony that is.. We had a great week in Mass. We spent most of the time at the pool and the kids made some friends so that gave Anthony and I time together. We also drove up to Lake George for the day with my parents. The kids loved going to the beach and playing in the lake. Now we are back to the daily grind. Hard to believe that I need to start thinking about school supplies.

There are some big changes going on at stamping up! This weekend was convention and there are sneak peaks at the new cattie all over the Internet.. Can't wait to get my copy in my hands hopefully this week. Stampin up has partnered with sizzix and you can now purchase the machine through stampin up. There are great new punches in the cattie and lots of new stamp sets. Well it is getting late and I am off to bed. Will share more tomorrow.

I have been promising to share my layouts that I did with Gigi.. Well here are two of them and I will post the other two tomorrow..I am so glad Gi and I have found time to create together.. I always get more down when I scrap with friends.. We are going on vacation next week and I hope to get some scrappin done while we are away..

This picture makes me happy!! Yes it is alot of laundry but I do not mind because I see bathing suites that were on my coppertone kids all day. I see laughing, smiling kids jumping in the pool. Brothers playing together and one crazy girl learning how to swim. Speaking of this crazy girl she is really into getting her picture taken lately and this picture just cracked me up! She is too funny

This was week 4 of summer and it was a busy one:

As many of you know we are a yankee family here and the all star game this year is in NY.. The boys were so excited to watch the homerun derby tonight on tv. Can't wait to catch the game tomorrow night.. I took this picture of Joe and me on his birthday, when I was editing it I could not believe how much he looks like Anthony's sister Theresa. They have the same smile! We'll we had a mellow week 3 here at the Laudati house.
*Joey turned 7 and his cousin Brandon spent the night at our house. they had a great time playing together
*The boys started camp and love it
*there was a lot of fighting going on at our house
*heard MOM he's bothering me one to many times
*Heard I am bored from Paul more times than I wanted too
*got creative with my pal Gigi (will post lo soon)
*marathon walked with Lisa again
*our wonderful babysitters had a graduation party(jenn from collage and Michelle from highschool)

*mourned the loss of a true Yankee
So sad to hear that Bobby Murcer died on sat. Anthony and I were very upset to hear that he lost his fight with brain cancer. I loved to listen to him announce yankee games. He just seemed like a very nice man. Hope you all have a great week and remember to document what you do this week.

Yes you guessed it Joseph is 7 today. Wow how the time flies . I swear it was yesterday that the cutest roundest hairest chunkiest little man was in my arms for the first time.. And now he's not so chunky but he sure is cute and the hairy thing will save that for a later date.. So here are 7 facts about my jojo beans!!
1. he is intense about everything
2. lover of all things pokeman
3. pasta and meatballs is his favorite meal
4.He has a temper but can be really sweet too!!
5. He makes friends easily
6. he is a fish in the pool
7. I think he is the best kid in the world

Sum up summer week 2

what a busy week we had here at our house.. I must say that this idea of summing up each week of summer has me taking more everday pictures. I am really enjoying this task. So without further ado here is how our week went down.
*pool pool and more pool
*neighbors over to swim in the pool too bad Tyler had to leave to get stitches.(jumped in to close to the side of the pool and hit his chin)
*managed to take a walk with Lisa love to walk with her she pushes me further than I push myself
*farmers market for strawberries, blueberries and rasberries.
*great picture of the kids at farmers market
*ugh took all 4 to walmart on Thursday!
*happy 4th with a party at the Lafasciano's
*Joey celebrated his 7th birthday on sat.
*great time with all of our friends and family

SUM UP SUMMER WEEK 1

I was visiting Gigi's blog( gigikennedy.typepad.com ) she had a post about summing up summer each week.. I thought it was a cool idea and decided I too wanted to hop on the band wagon. I think this is a great way to document all the fun things going on in our lives. So here goes:
* went to school for watermelon day! Joeys field day
* Paul wrote a book and we were invited to tea to celebrate
* Danny graduated from pre-school, so sad my baby is going to kindergarten
*went to the ice cream stand to celebrate
*Paul went to a pool party
* went to school to say goodbye to a great teacher that is retiring
*report cards came home super grades for both look out I have a 4th grader and a 2nd grader
*Pauls state test came home and he did real well I am so proud of him
*family time in the pool! Tori learning how to swim
*long walk with a good friend
*some scrappy time for me finished a lo but my camera is broken so i can't post it quite yet

Super HOT here in NY!!

So since Sat it has been 97 to 100 degrees here in NY. Thanky Thanky for the pool.. It really helps keep you cool.. So yesterday we got some thunder showers and I took advantage of the weather and made two pages. I love them so much the second one is of Joey and his video games and the how much he loves them.. The first one is of Victoria and Danny playing in the snow two years ago. I just found these pictures and decided to scrap them. Thanks for looking.

ONE SUPER EXCITED......

Little Boy!!!!! From the moment we told Joey that we were going to Hollywood Studios(MGM) all he wanted to see was Star Wars. Can we see Star Wars is it time for Star Wars yet? He was quite a trooper because we did not get to that side of the park untill after lunch. He had to sit through Beauty and the Beast and that is pure torture for this 6 year old. And a few other painful shows before we got there.. LOL!! So imagine his excitement when we walked out of the restaurant and they were pulling people on stage to learn Jedi moves. He jumped up and down till they picked him. He went up on stage with the biggest smile and learned all the moves. Just when we thought they were done out came Darth Vador. He actually got to try his newly acquired moves on him. So as you can imagine this was a great day in his book..

JUST GOOFIN AROUND

This is our last day of vacation before we all pile back into the car and head for home.. We have spent many days in the pool swimming and playing together. We also visted the magic kingdom and Hollywood studios. I think hollywood studios was the best hands down.. Joey got to go on stage and fight Darth Vador with a light saver. He was so excited.. Paul and Gianna went up and danced with High school musical it was very cool!! And my little girl went up to see chip and dale because she is missing her cats REAL BAD.. She has asked to go home more than once because the cats are lonely. Just a quick update untill we get home...

So this week was my birthday and I celebrated it with some of my greatest friends!! We spent the night talking and laughing and munching on some yummy food.. On Wednesday I went to Mothers day breakfast with Paul and Joey and my mom at their school.. It is such a nice thing the pta does for the school. We always have a good time..It was a week of celebrating for me because on Friday night Paul and Joe had mother son bowling.. We had pizza and ice cream and bowled 2 games before calling it a night.. This was another great night out because of our pta..

The week ended with me taking my mom for our first pedicures for mothers day.. I think we both enjoyed it..

so I am the very bad at this whole blogging thing... We have been very busy in the past two and a half months.. Daniel turned 5 in February and Victoria turned 3 in April..

Joey and Danny have started t-ball and love it.. Joseph won 1st place in the pine wood derby for cub scouts. Paul has been practicing for his chorus concert tomorrow night..

WE leave for Florida in 2 weeks for a much needed vacation. Mommy is looking foward to some warm weather and sunshine. Hopefully we will be able to see Uncle john while we are down there. He just moved to Miami and we are hoping to get him up to orlando to see the kids. Daddy has been busy with work and coaching t-ball . Mommy runs around like crazy from one activity to the next with everyone. Mommy is looking foward to a girls night out on sat with some of the most amazing girls who make me laugh all the time... In honour of their birthdays I have to post some pictures of Danny and Tori. Danny had a rollerskating party with his friends from school. Victoria went to the hair salon for a day of pampering.. She had the best time with her cousin Anjalyna and friends Gianna and Gianna.

The magic of Disney.......

Last Saturday we went to see Finding Nemo on Ice.. What a great show I have never been to a Disney show on Ice before. And being a die hard Disney fan this was a great treat for me and the kiddos.. All of them enjoyed the show and sat through the whole show! Daddy scored tickets at work so he and Paul and Joey got to sit in the sixth row up real close.. And Danny well he got to hang out with his pal Nick. These two are attatched at the hip.. Little miss Victoria spent the day with Gianna. We all had a blast. Can't wait to go to Florida with these guys in May.

One Crazy Week

We have had one crazy week around here... On Saturday night, Anthony and I took the kids roller skating!! Peppe and Grace and the kids went with us.. We had so much fun! I am sorry to say that I did not get one single picture.. Victoria loved it so much that she wants to go back again..

The kids have been busy with after school activities.(that means mom is running around like a nut to get everyone where they need to go.)

On Wednesday a little package arrived from Uncle Tommy...Dance dance revolution for the Wii.. Oh my it is so much fun. The kids went to bed and I stayed up and played with it.. You can definitely drop a few pounds.. If you don't have it I say you need to get it.. Thanks Tommy and Maureen..

Yesterday Anthony surprised me by telling me he is taking me away overnight next week.. He talked to Jenn and Michelle and they are going to spend the night with the kids and get them to school on Friday for us.. I can't wait to get away..

The picture is of the six of us before Christmas at Lawrence Farms.. They have a great little village and santa was there.. If you have never been there I suggest you go in June and pick some strawberries they are to die for.

Happy New Year!!!!

As 2007 ended I became a little sad to see it go. 2007 was a good year for me and my family. It is so hard for me to believe that we are welcoming in a new year. As I get older the years start to go by faster and faster. It is hard for me to believe that I have a 3rd grader who is preparing for state tests next week. And a 1st grader that can read chapter books and truly enjoys reading. Then there are my babies who are not really babies anymore. Next month I have to register Daniel for kindergarten and Victoria for pre school. WOW!! As the new year starts I am having a hard time with them growing up.. They have lives of there own and friends that they want to hang out with. But I must let them find their way as every parent must do. Teach them to be independent and confident.
We had a great time over vacation celebrating Christmas with our friends and family. We played some guitar hero, sang some high school musical, jumped on the new trampoline. And Anthony and I got to ring in the new year with great friends and good food.

What a busy weekend ..Sat I hosted a Christmas card workshop and we had a blast.. Everyone made 15 cards and a small nugget box.. The nugget box was a hit, but who can resist CANDY!!!. Then Sat night Anthony and I went out to dinner with our good friends the Millers and the Terribiles.. I have never laughed so hard in my life.. Tears were rolling down my eyes.. Since my husband is such a good sport I can post this hilarious comment.. Now many of you know that my husband is not a small man, we were seated in a very small corner of the Chinese restaurant..which is pretty funny but the waiter came over and did not speak English very well.. So he looks at my husband and says we slide tables together you gigantic!! Anthony says I think he called me gigantic? well you had to pick me and Lisa up off the floor because we were laughing so hard.. Now this went on all through dinner if Anthony asked for something the waiter said ok you gigantic.. Now I know that is not what he really meant and we all found it funny.. But honey I love you even if you are gigantic..

On Sunday we went to a halloween party at my sisters house.. what a great time the kids had.. here are a few pictures of my little trick or treaters

my nephew Brandon.. he is the cute blonde one on the right... He and Joey are the best of friends... They love to have sleepovers and play together all the time.. Now that school has started they don't get to see to much of each other.. We hope you have a great day little man!!!

And I have to also wish my mom a happy birthday too!! Yes they share the same birthday.. Yesterday we went apple picking with Daniels school.. promise to post pictures tomorrow..

80 degrees today??? Now don't get me wrong it is beautiful out, BUT this is October and I was so ready for fall.. We are supposed to be thinking about cooler weather and sweaters.. We should be picking pumpkins and baking bread... I do not like this at all.. Because I know the nice weather will go away and before we know it , we will have snow!!!UGh I don't want to even think about it..

It's hard to believe....

That a year ago we were getting ready to go into the hospital with Paulie for surgery....HE was such a great sport about it.. If he was scared we could not tell.. October was definitely a crazy month for us last year between staying at the hospital and driving back home to spend time with the other kids Anthony and I were very lucky to have great friends and family that helped us through the long weeks.. Paul is doing great and the surgery was a success. He is able to do more things for himself now and I am so proud of how hard he works in school.. He was able to keep up with his work and not get behind.. He has a great spirit and never complains about all the extra work he has because of his therapy..

I just love this picture of him getting on the bus .. He is so happy..

Well I did it..I took the plunge and started a blog.. Hopefully I can come up with some interesting tidbits for all of you..With 4 little people running around here that should'nt be so hard!! My life is very busy with these guys but I do find the time to stamp and scrapbook and I would like to share my creativity with all of you in the near future.. I am off to get some laundry done before number 1 and number 2 get off the bus!!!
